The Romans Road to Salvation

Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

We are taught in the scriptures that every person has sin and therefore we fall short. The first step to salvation is to admit that you are a sinner.

Romans 6:23a "but the wages of sin is death"

We are born into sin, and sin has a physical death which everyone knows. But our sins without the blood of Jesus applied will leave us to an eternal death known as Hell.

Romans 6:23b "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Salvation is a gift from God and you can not earn it you just have to receive it.

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

When Jesus died on the cross He paid the penalty for sin. We no longer have to pay for our sins, we have an escape through the love of Jesus that allowed Him to die for our sins.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

The Bible is clear, all you have to do is call upon the name of Jesus and ask Him to save you.

Romans 10:9 -10 "That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

All you have to do is confess your sins to Jesus and believe that He died on the cross and has risen from the dead.

Revelation 3:20a "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: and if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in..."

Jesus loved you enough to die for you, all you have to do is believe on Him, and repent of your sin and you will be saved.

Dear Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and I believe that you died for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and to save me.
